Product Description
Ballreich's Marcelled two pound vintage metal potato chip tin canister with lid from Tiffin Ohio
FYI
The husband and wife team of Fred and Ethel Ballreich who created these homemade potato chips in 1920 in their dirt floor garage in Tiffin Ohio called them marcelled after the popular ladies' wavy hairstyle of the day.
Aging this Item
Because the Ballreich's began using sealed bags instead of metal canisters for their potato chips in the 1960s, and the use of the first generation barcode, I am going to age this item as somewhere in the 1970s.
Solid
Metal canister has some small dents and paint scrapes, common for age and use
I have set the shipping cost for this item based on dimensional weight which is determined on the size of the shipping box and to some degree the delivery location. If you purchase this item and I have estimated the shipping charge incorrectly you will be refunded the difference less a small handling fee.
