Product Description

Franklin Delano Roosevelt FDR replica pinback or stick presidential campaign button
Pin measures 1-1/4R inches round

In the 1970s American Oil Company put out a series of 38 campaign buttons, given away as premiums at their gas station. This is the reproduction of the Presidential Campaign of 1936.

Democratic President Franklin D. Roosevelt's New Deal was loudly denounced in 1936. The Republicans chose a candidate as much unlike FDR as they could find. Alfred E. Landon. He warned the nation of the effects of the New Deal. Roosevelt won by one of politics greatest landslide.

The back tells where you can send $8.95 to purchase the entire set plus a handsome wooden collector's wall piece and a booklet reporting each campaign. I doubt you could still make that purchase.
Bottom right corner tells this button's number 21 -22

The card is torn in the upper right corner
This political / automotive memorabilia would make a nice addition to any collection
